Born in London, raised in Essex and now back in London, Idris Miles (pronounced ‘Eye-Dris’) is an artist and songwriter who fuses the sounds of Rap, Trap, R&B, Drill, Garage, Grime and Hip Hop.
Valuing music that shares a meaningful and powerful message, he is summed up by tight flows, lucid concepts and sheer ENERGY.
Idris has been perfecting his craft for the better part of a decade, in current times he has been championed by BBC Introducing, participated in Jamal Edwards’ SBTV warm-up session and even been co-signed by peers like BERWYN.
Some ‘miles-tones’ achieved includes headline shows in 2019 and 2021, performing in NYC, appearing on stage at Glastonbury and performing at Secret Garden Party. Radio wise he has had interviews with DJ Target and Jyoty as well as radio plays from some of the biggest stations in the UK like Kiss 100, Capital Xtra, Reprezent, Rinse and BBC 1Xtra.
Even in 2022, Idris has also appeared on the popular Link Up TV series Hardest Bars Freestyles with the likes of Shocka and other notable rappers in a cypher.
Idris is now focusing on releasing music with a lot of music in 2023, with some amazing singles lined up with some SECRET fantastic features. As well as that Idris has a show coming up March 2023 at the prolific Brixton Hootananny with well known rappers Footsie, Juice Menace and Tana, and accompanied by talented Brixton Chamber Orchestra.
