2010 – avicii & sebastien drums deliver a beatport number 1

To finish off 2010, Avicii collaborated with Sebastien Drums dropping their Gwen McRea sampling ‘My Feelings For You’, the same sample also used a few years earlier by Cassius in ‘My Feeling’. The original song’s 80’s funk groove melded perfectly with Avicii’s new club vibe – this  time collaborating with friend and French based artist Sebastien Drums.

Initially the track had an illegal sample, however with Avicii’s managers blessing, Vicious fully cleared it and it became a monster tune. Vicious licensed it to labels all over the world including the UK, USA, Germany, Spain, Italy & Asia. It was somewhat of a breakout track for Avicii at the time and resulted in his first Beatport number one. 

In celebrating 30 Years of Vicious, Don Diablo remixed this track (which you can hear via the Spotify link below).
