1994 – Label Co-Founder drops Bubbleman

Label co-founder, Andy Van, first released music under the alias of ‘Bubbleman’, and his ‘Theme from Bubbleman’ track came out on 12” in ’94 and appeared in record shops globally, before being licenced for a European release on Stress Records.

Bubbleman often sampled disco cuts, and the project led to Andy meeting songwriter Cheyne Coates who would later make up the other half of Madison Avenue.

Before the iconic duo took the world by storm, Cheyne performed on Bubbleman demos.
