VITAL SIGNS – MIND ELECTRIC

Long time house music maestro Mind Electric delvers a thumping vibe on his new single “Vital Signs”. Released by disco producers Lipps Inc and Debra Laws in 1989, (and famously sampled by Drumattic Twins on “Feeling Kinda Strange”), this one hits the spot for 2023 and beyond.

The original brings Mind Electric’s now trademark fat production. Think chunky house drums, a big bassline, a simple hypnotic melodic keyboard line and quality vocals from Bec Caruana, all sublimely mashed together for a chuggy house rendition of this familiar classic.

Then Mind Electric’s VIP Mix gives it a pump up, adding a slice of disco energy. This more club orientated version picks the tune up with a new rolling bassline, filtering drops and snippets of Bec’s vocal, all working it’s way through a slick and funky arrangement. A great alternative version for those looking for a more energetic version.
