FiNE, a collaboration between two talented brothers brings us an Afro House banger titled “Malori”. Intentionally steering away from the lighter side of the genre, Malori which means “to dream“ has been tried and tested over the summer festival season in Australia. On the back of their debut track on UGenius “Samba”, the FiNE boys are certainly gathering some momentum with their much darker signature take on the Afro House genre. “From the start, our intention was to create a big track. To us, Afro House is typically quite soft – pillow-like kicks, minimal percussion, tamed leads and bass lines. We personally enjoy the more aggressive Afro House tracks, and our goal for Malori was to make something that really stood out from the crowd. The percussion is crisp, the bass is in your face, the track is dark and aggressive”.
