Kicking off 2023 here Mind Electric continues his fat funky house vibes with “Funk It Up”. Taking a classic funk sample, (which was also used by many including Bob Sinclar many years ago), he melds this vocal sample with his trademark house sound. A tight bassline driven groove delivers the goods here with a cut that is right in the pocket for the house heads. The alternative version keeps the tempo at house pace, but be sure and check the original version which slows down into the original funk tempo’d groove… A nice way to start 2023… Enjoy!
