This is the latest offering from one of the biggest producers in progressive, CHAB (aka Moogwai – aka Star – aka Francoiz Chabloz). Hailing from Sweden, Chab has delivered some of the biggest prog tunes over the years, and does not disappoint with CLOSER TO ME.

From this killer remix package, the Album Mix will be the one you all know and love, filtering though earlier last year. A slow building, progressive house submission, complete with a cavernous, hypnotic bassline, crafty percussion and the emotive vocals of JD Davis. The Renaissance Mix takes you on a deeper and more mysterious journey, with the Original 12” and Lexicon Avenue Mix rounding out the remixes on offer from Chab’s home label, SAW Recordings.

Already championed by heavy hitters in the progressive world including SAW label boss, Satoshie Tomie, Hernan Cattaneo, Alter Ego, Pete Tong and Sven Vath just to name a few, it has also been picked up by Hernan Cattaneo to appear on the latest Renaissance compilation.

But here’s the AUSTRALIAN trump card……along with a bulging remix package from SAW, we’ve enlisted the brilliance of local Vicious Remixers Kam Denny and Dirty South to deliver a couple of absolute stormers. Kam Denny puts the pedal to the metal AGAIN and turns in what can only be described as a dancefloor BLINDER – complete with a guitar breakdown to die for. Dirty South’s signature big-room grinding electro gives the bottom-end a work out and already has thumbs up from Wally Lopez.
