The work of a couple of mysterious producers from Sweden, “Lovin’ You” originally appeared in limited numbers last year & didn’t take long to find itself ‘front of box’ for house music’s DJ cognoscenti.
Features the vocal talents of rising UK star Nate James, soul music’s hottest new artist fresh from his debut single release “Set The Tone”, which achieved widespread critical acclaim in March and he has been compared vocally to anyone from Stevie Wonder to Craig David. While the Original Mix is not too dissimilar to a rockin’ Shapeshifters uplifting vibe, on the remix front, ATFC turns in a groovy, brass-filled re-rub for the house connoisseur; and Raul Rincon provides a stunning remake with a piano-line that should have arms raised from Perth to Melbourne! In fact, Vicious’ own Lorne Padman was hanging with Shapeshifters at AKA Bar in London mid-June and personally witnessed peak-time madness directly fuelled by the fresh Raul Rincon mix.
Behrouz, from the Yoshitoshi stable moves the original into deeper territory, suitable for the boxes of Deep Dish and the like.
