Let’s rewind a little….Last summer a mysterious white label double pack arrives on the shelves of a handful of record stores…little is known. By some…It sounds like a hot new electro-ish vocal record… For others, instant memories of the 80’s funk and dance sounds come flooding back? The record is Midnight Star’s “Midas Touch” and since that day it has grown and grown (particularly down in Melbourne) to reach truly “ANTHEM” status. Victorian clubs from Revolver, to One Love, to Seven to 161, and just about every club in between, has had this record pumping through their sound systems, some since the start of 2004, others only recently.
